Steps for Posting an Ad for an "Available" or "Needed" Item:  

  1. First register as a new user of the Assistive Technology Exchange Post site. Do this by clicking on the "register" tab. At this point you must agree to the "terms and conditions" for using the Assistive Technology Exchange Post site in order to proceed with the registration process. Fill in the fields with the requested personal information and create a username and password for accessing the Assistive Technology Exchange Post site.  Be sure to save this username and password in a safe place for future reference.

  2. Once registered as a site user proceed to the "login" tab and use the username and password you created to login. Once logged in you can review ads as posted, place your own ad (s) and/or get contact information or email/contact those individuals who have an item (s) you may be interested in.

  3. Select either "Post an Item for Sale/Donation" or " Post an Item Needed".  Post an Item for Sale/Donation is used if you have an item/piece of equipment you would like to donate, sell or exchange and Post an Item Needed is used if you would like to post an ad for an item/piece of equipment you need or are looking for. Fill in the fields with the information requested. Be as specific as possible. Please refer to "Helpful Tips" for Posting your Ad.

  4. Once submitted your ad (s) comes to the staff for final review prior to posting live on the Assistive Technology Exchange Post site.
